These two things have driven me ever since. The only difference is marketing allows me to eat and buy things I want while music... well, music is just a fun hobby for now since it's hard to make money in the music industry. I got tired of being a broke musician.

It taught me how to survive by hunting for the next gig. I gained knowledge of how to find my own resources independently from my job and my boss and I loved the freedom.

The only problem with music is there wasn't enough money I could make to afford the lifestyle I wanted. 

Pursuing marketing allowed me to stay connected to my creative side and be able to pay for my toys and all the fun stuff.
